e. dye® uses the proven solution dye process to put color directy inside polyester yarn f laments , before they are even spun into yarn. previousy, solution dyed polyester was limited by its color range , but e. dye® has expanded the color range , and made the process more efficient.

In addition to the all-important water saving, e.dye® also provides an excellent finished product, due to the color of e.dye® being inside the yarn. Compared to [traditional water dyeing processes] where the color is dyed on the outside of the yarn, e.dye® color is permanent. Colors won't fade or disperse into adjacent colors.

The current damage caused by dye processes comes from the traditional dyeing industry that has been used for 250 years. In the process, water and chemicals are mixed and heated to dye the fabric.
